CAMPS

Explore Music at EMF – In partnership with Eastern Music Festival, The Music Academy offers a wonderful experience to learn about the symphony orchestra. Dates and times TBA.

Explorers receive an introduction to classical music and the orchestra through hands-on learning. Experienced instructors provide a kid-friendly and creative approach to music through instrument demonstrations, orchestra rehearsal visits, making and playing instruments, singing, and engaging activities with melody, harmony, and rhythm.

Campers will be up close and personal with some of the nation’s top student orchestral musicians. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Camp registration includes one adult and one child ticket to an EMF performance!

CHILDREN'S CONCERTS

The children's concerts are FREE for anyone to attend. Kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring a blanket to sit on. Programs are geared toward elementary-age children, but all are welcome. Join us for as many as possible, as each concert celebrates music from a different perspective! Dates and times TBA.

Fiddle Fun

Spectacular strings to serenade you!

The Music Academy's faculty string quartet will perform and teach you all about the wonders of string instruments. There will be a hands-on demo at the end.

Up, Up, and Away

Off we go on an adventure!

Travel to new places, like Japan, France, and Argentina, and explore all the different kinds of music you find there. Join in the fun with Musikgarten-led songs.

Jazz For Kids

Jump into the world of jazz!

This interactive concert teaches you the roles of the instrument kingdom within a jazz ensemble. You'll learn how to listen and move along to the music in New Orleans fashion.

Moody Music

Get ready to feel all the feels!

Different emotions are tied to different melodies, tempos, and rhythms. Listen to live performances to learn how music can affect your mood.
